I'd agree with Lexus65 to take out the fan grill out replace with a less restrictive standard grill ... it would boost more airflow ...

About the sata cable, if possible get a longer version so that u could route it behind the rom cage ...

Anyway use two cable tie base to secure your 24 atx connector to the mobo tray rather having a palm tree in the middle of island ...

Lastly ... if u go on BTX mod .. .all these problem with cable management would be much more easier to tackle ....

You don't need to fixed it to the mobo tray.. u could buy some of those cable management holder that has lock and release mechanism .. then u won't lost its flexibility of removable mobo ..

come come ... BTX it and u would know how easy it is to do cable management on it then ...

Hard to comment about the cables men .... the PSU cable itself already too short .... so it make cable management so hard ...

Usually in this situation I'd make own cables to extend from PSU connector to HDD drive ...

It will get much more better with sleeving, new heatsink and some lighting ...

If not mistaken last time my friend told me after conversion it cost about RM800 for that case ... it ain't cheap .. trust me ..

coz I've checked out the local price at UK it cost about RM1K... hoosh ..

Anyway really love the design of A17 but doesn't like the rom slot holes actually, cos it released noise generated within the case ....

Unless u are using cross blow fan, else it's hard to pull and push the air around mobo area .. even with 12cm fan ..

but 3cm of gab is a good idea to hide and route cables beneath mobo tray ...

Giving Ah Lian is a great idea .. but make sure you remove the USB and power switch connectors .. .

you won't want it to be rusted in the end ...

I loved the BTX mod .. can't wait to see what else this old generation sexy case could amaze me .. .

hmm it's better ask LIAN LI themselves why so hard to ship to malaysia while other countries always got stock.. mostly japan and US ..

hehe .. how about you(sniper on the roof) become Lian Li distributor to malaysia ???
