I have to agree. The note 8 battery didnt do too well. But Samsung was quick in replacing the defective batteries after they realised the battery deteriorated way earlier than it was supposed to. They also came up with updates to address the battery drain issue.

I bought the Note 9, the S10 and S10+ after that and the battery quality issue and battery drain issue was addressed well. Im not saying there are no such issues on these later models but battery life improved quite a lot. I would defenately not equate the bad experience of the Note 8 on the current models, especially the Note 10/10+.

I had the S8, S8+, Note 8, S9+, Note 9, and S10+. Unfortunately though I sold the S10+ before the fix for the standby battery drain, but I do agree the Note 9 was the best of that lot which means that Samsung did improve over time. Let’s hope it’s the same for the Note 10+, that is, if we do get to try it biggrin.gif

Not really, except for the S10+, I bought every other phone in that list from Qoo10 and after coupon discounts and selling off the free gifts, my net spend has always been RM3k or below.

Even for the S10+, I bought it at 3499 (11Street) and sold the tablet and buds for 700.

Actually we can just use USB-C laptop charger which support output max 65W and do supply 15V/3A aka 45W ahhaha...
*
I doubt it works that way. New gen of USB charger must have IC chip than detect the phone charging protocol requirement so that it will output voltage ranging from 5V to 20V. If your phone support only PD 3.0, you’ll need a USB charger that has that.

Seems like quite a number of people interested in the Samsung Original 45w Super Fast Charger. The price though, is quite the turn off.
