According to what I heard, the other lists of WCG games representative are chosen by In2 company, only the representative for DoTA is choosen by SMM.

If SMM did not held the qualifiers, the authority of choosing the final team would be given to In2 marketing.

They would choose the final team either from the 2006 WCG Champion or the present DoTA situation according to In2 marketing. (In the current DoTA situation, if Wizz team is disband, they will choose the current unofficial top team which is ROA)

If I am wrong please correct me and if I have offended anyone , I here and foremost apologised for it.


I'll switch this topic to a new topic which will consists of a poll concerning whether there should have a qualifier for all the WCG games list or use the decision of In2 marketing to choose a team to represent Malaysia in ACG.

Ur opinion is appreciated .... TQ

Definitely!!!!! If not it's like such a hog that they always choose a team which other teams who might be just as strong can never get the chance to compete with the world. It's a contender to fight the world. Give us back our right. Boooo to In2. All gamers should have the right to compete for the title. That's just my opinion anyway.

as what i know now is In2 have send a letter to smm about what DOTA team smm will be choose for represent Malaysia to ACG2007. So, in this two day smm will design either have qualifying on this or past back to In2 to choose(now smm really busy on their Grand dota tournament)..

Thing is, why would they NOT want to have a qualifier? If they think it's just easier to just pick a team and send them as Malaysia's representative, then they are really unprofessional. Firstly because that promotes biasness, and it's all their opinion on which is the best team. Even if they do discuss with SMM, it's still something between them and SMM, nothing to do with the DotA teams in general.

I am not bashing RoA, but this is a matter of representing the country. Which team would not want to represent their country? To promote fair play, qualifiers should be held. It is not about 'sending the best team'. It's about showing all the other teams that they too, have a chance, provided they show that they are the best.

ya, for fair to all malaysia gamer the all Acg tournament games list should have a qualifier.For smm part we wanna have a qualifier of dota for winner to represent Malysia but we really run out of time and ppl, so we try plan it and discuss with smm boss in this few day.If really cant make it will past back to In2 to choose which team....
