You are both welcome.

All these years, since I first heard it in 1975, I had always
wondered how he managed to obtain that dynamic,
haunting, unforgettable guitar sound, moreover in
those days when I don't think the Boss pedals had
even come out.

I had thought that he used racks and racks of distortions,
delays, reverbs, but that was again in the 1970s when
there were hardly any rack effects.
