Hi, Im a spm leaver and i would like pursue a career in IT. Im quiet confused between IPTA and IPTS. So i just wanna clear up a few questions. Well before that, im coming from a financially unstable family, but my mom is wiling to pay for IPTA eventhough she needs to struggle (ps: my mom is a singe parent) and i Got 6As & 4Bs for my SPM.

So..ummm.. my questions...

1) Is it harder for me to further my degree in IPTA if i do my Diploma in a Politeknik Premier
2) Should i just study in MMU for 4 years (foundation > degree) or should i go Poli then do my degree in IPTA (diploma in poli takes 3 years to complete)
3) Is it possible to further my degree in IPTA if i do my diploma in MMU?
4) UiTM - is it still only for bumiputera?

Please help me clear my doubts smile.gif) Thankks in advanceeeee smile.gif) icon_question.gif

1. If you can get poli premier, take it. Nope, not harder if your result are good.
2. have you calculate the cost if MMU? also why MMU..
3. as long as that course is accredited you can
4. yes.

if you can get poli, just take it. cost wise cheaper, more practical than theory.

The only thing i worry about poli is it takes 3 years to complete diploma confused.gif And i chose MMU because i can apply PPTN for their foundation programme and also i'l be getting 15% discount. So if i go MMU i can complete foundation & degree in 4 years. But money wise, i prefer poli. Im just confused which one is worth ?

A) What do you want to do for a living? IT is a freaking big industry with multiple career choices and paths.

B) Read up on what does person do or what is expected of that person.

C) Try to get a hold of the course details for the courses you're looking at.

D) Choose the one that you think will best prepare you for what you want to be.

When hiring I rarely look at paper qualification or which uni/college. What you know and your willingness to learn is more important.

Actually i want to learn software development. From what i've understood, if i take degree in software engineering i may venture into AI, Programming, mobile apps, Gaming technology and many more fields. I've always wanted to be a digital nomad, so i guess degree in Software engineering will help me.
