Unless your parents are rich better go for IPTA or in your case Poli. No need to pay high fees from diploma to degree in IPTS then end up having same wages with IPTA grad

Go for Politeknik since your main concern is regarding your mother situation.
Doesnt matter if you will be learning the same thing in Degree again .You can have advantages over your classmate and you can teach them. You need to realize everyone is moving at different time.Maybe you take total of 7 years to finish your Dip and Degree.Stop comparing with other people. You need to see what you can achieve and how possible it is . Coming from Diploma and Degree from Politeknik .Working just fine like the rest of population |

Save time by going for a cheaper uni.Three years difference is huge. Loss opportunity and also three years less EPF. |

QUOTE(Anonnym000000 @ Jul 31 2019, 05:53 PM) Hi, Im a spm leaver and i would like pursue a career in IT. Im quiet confused between IPTA and IPTS. So i just wanna clear up a few questions. Well before that, im coming from a financially unstable family, but my mom is wiling to pay for IPTA eventhough she needs to struggle (ps: my mom is a singe parent) and i Got 6As & 4Bs for my SPM. Better go poli if u don't want to burden ur mom n urself when graduate time. Poli fee is only rm400 per semester. There are 6 sem, 1 sem as intern So..ummm.. my questions... 1) Is it harder for me to further my degree in IPTA if i do my Diploma in a Politeknik Premier 2) Should i just study in MMU for 4 years (foundation > degree) or should i go Poli then do my degree in IPTA (diploma in poli takes 3 years to complete) 3) Is it possible to further my degree in IPTA if i do my diploma in MMU? 4) UiTM - is it still only for bumiputera? Please help me clear my doubts Or go utar, |

Of course 3 years of work experience is different.I dont denied that . The question is concerning about what path does he want to take . My salary is also a huge different with my friends in diploma. But if you ask me did i regret for continue my study in Degree,i would say no. Grass is always greener on the site no matter what you did. Salary matter, you can just start to work with just diploma and like others stated, work experience is much more valuable in any profession / job / industry. Like i said earlier, everyone is not the same. Some people only want to work as fast as possible while others want to pursue a much more higher education . There are pro and cons for both side. Figure out what do you want, then make the choices |

My sincere advice kesian kat mak u....
Better do diploma at Poli or local u... Mmu diploma or degree cost a bomb and ur family can't afford it later...Lagi Susah kalau drop out As some have said....degree fresh grad so many right now...u just mahal2 pun like no value....better get degree in cost possible and later aim for professional cert...that matter to hiring company... |

QUOTE(Anonnym000000 @ Jul 31 2019, 08:50 PM) The only thing i worry about poli is it takes 3 years to complete diploma 1. Poli is definitely cheaper.2. Poli is more practical / skills. Uni is academic. Skills are much needed now. Easier to get job with skills. 3. MMU fees is very high. Even take ptptn, still need to repay. It's not free money falling fr the sky. 4. Don't worry so much abt how long it takes to study. It's not easy to get a job nowadays. Enjoy your study life while you're young. Working life can be like shit sometimes. 5. Whatever and where ever you study, make sure the course have MQA. There shld not be any problem in future. |
