Have u ever dated a girl who is of higher class than u, meaning richer, more knowledgeable, higher education and speaks better English than u?

I did, I once dated a girl who just move from other school to my school, well to my class. She is of rich family, dad is a company CEO, mom is a lawyer. She doesn't quite speak Chinese, but excellent English. She read those kind of Ernest Hemingway books, watching American shows and always get top 5 in class.

While me, i seldom study, always last few positions, watch those Hong Kong fighting movies, anime, no read books at all, listen Jay Chou songs. Speaking English? Lol, I failed my English test.

So, we dated. It feels so hard to mingle with her friends and to chat with her because we didn't share same hobby. I tried hard to enter her 'world' but I failed. Cause I hardly grasp what she wanted. In then end we broke up. I guess I wasn't meant for her, I'm too poor too low class.

Got once during college years. even if she likes me beyond logic, i can foresee that her family/social circle wont. it's gonna be suffering no matter what we do.

so i cut it short and wish her well. we lost contact although occasionally i still can see her FB postings. still living her rich man daughter's life but i dont know if she is already seeing anyone. no mention of it in her FB postings but from the photos taken it is no selfie. got ppl cature using dslr punya style. so i dunno who could be taking those photos. probably the guy he is dating? cant be tripod-ing herself no?

sometimes questions of "what could have been" occasionally does pop up in my mind. but then again, it's just an occasional thoughts that quickly disappears just as soon as it came.
