Hello all. Just want to ask. I've been taking vitamin C for many years, especially those soluble drop into a cup a water before drinking.

I notice everytime after drink and pee, my urine will be dark orange. Been taking redoxon (very dark orange) and cebion (yellowish). My pee release eh colour exactly like the liquid I take in. So my question is, is the colouring dangerous or harmful to our kidney?

short answer, no coz US FDA / ministry will lose head if say yes.

Another view, if everyday you drop 1 drop of ink into a pond, eventually what will happen to the pond ?

Also consider who wants to participate in a reseach for so many years long, risk their own health so that there is real evidence.

Conclusion, orange cost 70cents to 1.20

Vitamin C is one of the water-soluble vitamins that will be excreted via kidneys. As long as your kidney is fine, the excretion will take place and no accumulation will occur (eventho overdose is not entirely impossible especially in IV administration, but really rare).

So to answer your question, usually the cycle of kidney damage due to Vitamins when the kidney is already have some degree of injury (Chronic Kidney Disease), and the unregulated vitamins intake may precipitate the damage to further progress.

But if you seeing your urine color changing, it means, roughly, that your kidney is doing what its supposed to - which is clearing out the vitamins.

Not saying about the vitamins, but more to the colouring. In long term, is it bad?

Well I don't think my kidney is as big as a pond. Though we are supposed to drink lots of water, I usually only take a glass of water every 30mins, so imagine the colouring stuck in kidney for 30mins before we pee. Maybe it isn't so bad, but just can't imagine in the long term.

If you've tried Cebion and Redoxon, as I mentioned in my thread, Redoxon tablet colour when it is fully dissolved in water, is quite strong orange. Cebion is a lighter orange colour.

Isn't both of these, just colouring? But is it bad if I take them everyday when the colouring is so thick?

Its fine, as long as your kidney is fine in the first place.

The choice is yours.

Kidney is fine and all is fine. But won't it be harmful in the long run? Like we always take charcoal grill foods. Short term, liver no issue. But long term, will cause cancer.

Aren't they the same?

No, different entity.

You can reduced the consumption of the supplements if its worrying you. Long run you might end up being hypertensive due to worrying too much.

Haha no la. Just need to ask. Everything safe before, is harmful today. Like putting hot foods into plastic bags, or starfruits being harmful, or oats being harmful. I just dunno anymore.

You ask on internet, they not related to you, can say anything.
Years down the road only IF there are consequences, then it is your health.
That's why I share safest solution, if you want Vitamin C then you can get it from oranges.

Hmmm true also. But just that oranges don't give enough vitamin c. Probably need 10 to 15 to achieve 1000 mg. Nvm ill buy those colourless vitamin c tablets to swallow.

Keep in mind Vitamin C can overdose of sorts.
Sometimes when body sick, can use high dose of Vit C, but if user consistently taking high dose then may not be able to use Vit C should the body becomes sick.
Just a precaution. Consult doctor and dietition on this.

Yes you are right, it's all about coloring and flavoring.
Can you imagine a cheaper vitamin C but they give good quality of material? Not really shakehead.gif

Guys, about vitamin C and in general about vitamins, food supplements and the like. Please tell me how actively you take vitamins, which products and which company do you prefer. I've heard a lot of good reviews about Immune Defense https://immunedefence.info/home What can you say? Maybe someone ordered vitamins from them?

I take soluble ones as per my thread. I take once a day as it's 1000mg but lately forgetful, so whenever I remember, will take.
