From what some Mazda SAs mentioned, the "refreshed" model will include 2.5T Awd.This model will only be available in Awd version while the current 2.2D Awd will be discontinued.
So basically, the 2.5T will be the most expensive CX-5 and the only one with Awd.
Mazda don't have 2.0T, and the next available engine is the 2.0 Skyactive-X, which most probably won't be available in Malaysia due to our poor quality petrol (Euro 2) and the premium is about 30% over their current 2.0 NA engine.
