There are rebates given by the dealer, and rebate/discount given by the Sales Advisor.

Do take into consideration the possibility that you will be offered lower trade-in value for existing car if the SA promises high discount. In my case, the final trade-in price was agreed upon when I collected the new car and surrendered the old car.
