monetary gift is taxable under Maresian tax law lah, unless the recipient hold tax exempt status granted by LHDN and the person need to issue tax exempt donation receipt

agree, but dont simply give penalties for old cases before court decides. If LHDN korek 7 years old transaction and keep penalise you for that undeclared transactions which you unaware of its illegality. susah la..

many big corporations tried, some refused to pay and file Form Q challenge LHDN in court, but the penalties will stay

you can refuse to pay, and the max penalties LHDN can slap on you is initial 10% and additional 5%, unless it's fraudulent case then additional fines and penalties will appy
