Sorry, i'm late. I just started watching Claymore, finally, after hearing all the good reviews about it.

It is so fukken awesome !! I watched until episode 8 where Teresa was killed. ****, that was so sudden and unexpected. First her hands fell down and then her head. I almost puked at that scene. I couldn't care less with how Yoma-s were being killed and sliced or how the Number 3, 4 and 5 were killed. BUT when Teresa was killed, i am really feeling sick till the core. My guts are churning, like a dozen of butterflies in it.

I don't think i can sleep already. The beautiful and smiling Teresa got KILLED JUST LIKE THAT. T______T

I vowed never to watch that episode ever again or try to make sure i skip and jump to the next scene if i ever plan to rewatch it. Little did i know, they showed a flashback of Teresa's gruesome death in one of the later episode which i wasn't prepared, mentally and emotionally to see again. T__T

As i was watching that episode, Patricia didn't stand a chance at her current state of mind and obviously, going over her limit spells out DEATH to her as Teresa may hesitate on killing humans or her fellow Claymore-mates BUT never when dealing against a Yoma. There i was thinking, oh oh, you're in trouble (Patricia), and then what happened next. T___T

Also it is saddening to never get to see Teresa when she goes near-border of her limits.

This is the first ever anime which affected me in such a way, i will continue to brood over it for the next couple of days.


I don't know about GiTS since i am not into deep-detailed sci-fi genre. My Blood+ DVD can't run, stupid cheap DVD-Rs. But i watched Elfen Lied before, i laughed at their miserable and gruesome death. I suppose i felt that way because those characters who died gruesomely are not the type of character which one would feel affectionate to. Also, because Claymore is more sensible and realistic compared to Elfen Lied which led to my overreaction when Teresa died that way.

However, as to compare to Teresa, she started off as an unlikeable character by the way she behaved so snobbishly and how she kicked Claire a couple of times. Then she started to express her emotions and a slight sense of humour and slowly became a likeable character. As my affection on her character and her emotion's development grows, she suddenly died a gruesome death, so unexpectedly. T__T



Galatea is so kawaii~yo.
But not when she goes Overdrive, ahh, kowaaaii~yo.

I don't quite like Claire, maybe because she can't do a faint smile and she doesn't have long wavy hair. Also because Teresa was a much "warmer" person than Claire. But i suppose the main problem is because Claire is such a weak ass. Well, i haven't read the manga and i do not intend to do so anytime soon, should i be expecting Claire to fight with Teresa in her inner-self and power up and go BAAAAAAAAANKAI~~!!

My humble apologies, indeed, my misuse of the word "bankai" is terribly wrong and insulting as Bleach (in my opinion) is no where close to Claymore in terms of storyline development and character design. Indeed, i had tainted Claymore due to my previous misrepresentation.

OMG, ULTIMATE PHAILED.

You see, i hate her so much i wouldn't use a single byte of my brain's memory to remember her gawd-damn name.
It is funny to know how my brain works, no wonder i am becoming a ronin.

I too think that Flash Sword stance is rather weak but not completely useless.

Also, as i mentioned, i haven't touch the manga but i'd been wondering whether could it be possible for something like Teresa's face (lol, the whole head?) on Claire's chest ? I mean, how did Teresa's flesh and blood went into Claire ? Also, when in that episode where Teresa was nearly raeped if wasn't for Claire's sudden rescue, Teresa mentioned about her body looking really bad or in a bad shape. Could it be because she has someone's face or head on her chest ?

If it goes beyond the current episodes, please use the spoiler tag, thanks. I might had missed out certain information as i was marathoning Claymore until early morning.

I haven't seen Blood+ before, but i saw some advertisement scenes before on Animax. Somehow i prefer Claymore's detailed graphic and animation.

I had the same guts-churning feeling (first felt Theresa lost her BEAUTIFUL head) when i heard Galatea's head was chopped off.


I must say that i have a very strong sense of imagination. My thoughts are....

Two more episodes, how to end it well. Anyhow end it la, and bring joy to Teresa's supporters.

I hate weakings who get in the way, causing the hero/heroine/other characters to get injured/die.

Clare was one. I hope Raki disturbs and Clare dies.

No. This anime ends in the next episode. I foresee no possible use for him. I prefer if he dies in the final episode with Claire.
