Introvert & socially awkward is 2 different thing.

You're not socially awkward, heck you can even be a social butterfly. But you're introvert, hence you dislike socializing & prefers to be alone enjoying your "me, myself & I" time.

Well I could be wrong anyway. It might be due to you having dull conversations with people. Try talking about something you're passionate about or highly interested about & notice the difference.
