P30 pro is my dream phone since launching and still like it till now. Just thinking with so much new model outside, is it still worth to buy P30 pro now?
*Camera quality is one of my main criteria. |

However, I've been checking few maxis branch (thinking of taking a device bundle with the current package I'm subscribing), most of them no more stock of P30 pro. Think only way can get it is through phone shop and n moreo cheap device bundle cost |

QUOTE(kw @ May 16 2020, 11:15 PM) One main reason still considering P30 pro is because of the GMS support. You may check Maxis online, sometime for old model like P30 series, branch rarely hold stock. However, I've been checking few maxis branch (thinking of taking a device bundle with the current package I'm subscribing), most of them no more stock of P30 pro. Think only way can get it is through phone shop and n moreo cheap device bundle cost So old stock will be recollected to warehouse, and only be available via online. This logic applies to Digi and Celcom as well. For better value for money, get a second hand set also be good too. As P30 series come with 2 years warranty during promotion period. |

Yes, I also find that maxis online purchase has stock. Just that still prefer to grab the physical phone from physical store
However, the offer price of rm1599 with 24 months contract bond not so attractive yet for me to immediately sign up. So, still for a better offer outside. Not sure will vmall do some P30 pro clearance sale later or not |

QUOTE(teamjoker @ May 28 2020, 12:32 PM) my P30 pro giving problem. wifi not working, says no internet. some apps not working cause cannot connect to internet. No problem so far with my 8 months old P30 Pro, did you accidentally drop your phone before? You can actually performs a Smart Diagnosing with the Support App to check the phone condition first. If its still persists then you may want to perform a phone reset. Hopefully it's not the connection module failure otherwise you have to bring back to the Huawei Service Centre for troubleshooting and repairing.google chrome, line, yoodo apps, evernote all not working whatsapp, wechat is working. but my yoodo line seems to be working. anyone had similar problems before? |

Hi guys, I'm deciding between P30 vs P30 pro.
Am currently using Nova2i but only for 2 yrs + the battery kinda weak and requires constant charging, sometimes the phone goes crazy and it auto presses. Not sure if a factory reset helps or should I get a new phone? Trying to limit budget, but at the same time I realised when I used a not "flagship" phone, it only last a while. Like alang2, might as well get a better one and hope it lasts longer. any opinions? Also, I would like to clarify that P30 Pro, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro at the moment has no GMS support right? I checked shopee no major discounts for P30 series, closest I found is RM1865 for P30 (earlier this year @ RM1749 but I held back because it wasn't necessary to spend yet until now my phone starts to act up) RM2299 for mate 30 So in fact prices went up for P30 haha, still worth getting or wait until it drop further from new releases? correct me if I'm wrong the Nova7i/Honor has closest spec to P30, and I see the value is there, just my doubts on getting the "subsidiary" instead of the main remains This post has been edited by Death Wings: Jun 6 2020, 12:28 PM |

QUOTE(teamjoker @ Jun 6 2020, 01:01 PM) P30 pro still have GMS. Mate 30 onwards no more. I see..thanks!P30 pro battery after 1 year plus also start to degrade. Not so long lasting anymore. Now I charge 3 times a day. But the fast charging is superb. are you heavy gamer? I whack my Nova last time with lotsa gaming but now totally stopped. now still browsing for good deals, although 6 months passed but prices didn't drop, maybe due to weakening of MYR |

QUOTE(Death Wings @ Jun 6 2020, 12:25 PM) Hi guys, I'm deciding between P30 vs P30 pro. P30/Pro is the closest best experience of GMS from Huawei now. Later model Mate 30 or P40 series end up with HMS, even tho workaround for GMS is there, but there's no promise it will keep working in future.Am currently using Nova2i but only for 2 yrs + the battery kinda weak and requires constant charging, sometimes the phone goes crazy and it auto presses. Not sure if a factory reset helps or should I get a new phone? Trying to limit budget, but at the same time I realised when I used a not "flagship" phone, it only last a while. I believe the discount era for P30 series already ended, most shop that want to clear up old P30 phone already did that few months ago. Like Digi did the 2x P30 for 2 years contract for only RM480/year around end of last year to early of this year period. So now, there's more demand on P30 even after P40 launched, making the price stay where they are. And for Honor's which carry similar or higher spec internally, but they don't have Leica trademark. I'm not sure if the camera perform similar or not. IMO, if P30 still entitle for 2 years extended warranty, you should get new one, if not, get second hand also not a bad idea. |

Unless there are some dealers need to clear the stock but not wish to cut the prize, then they might taking these free gift as reason they stick the prize of it.hopefully got better deals or i'll just wait out how's the wireless charging? heard the charger comes free with P30Pro? |
