QUOTE(seventwo @ Jul 17 2019, 10:02 AM) My friend is working there. The office is in Bangsar South. What you read from the review, I can say everything is almost true. Based on the story I heard from my friend, why the received all of the benefits, is because their HR team is very well performed. Employee comes first. Good in people management. Just go for it, and I wish you good luck. If you got the position, feel free to share with us here Seems good. How long your friends working there? How about workload? Just curious. Bangsar South traffic , it is moderate or quite bad? I live in Seremban now.

QUOTE(stanum @ Jul 18 2019, 09:49 AM) i have a friends currently working in Bangsar South office which lives in Labu and another one in Nilai. Both driving from and to Bangsar South, but needs to leave a bit early. The traffic quite bad, but good things still can move because police traffice is always there during peak hours to control the traffic. Do you able to advise how much the season parking in Bangsar South? Orsted have flexible working hours, but want to know, how 'flexible' is flexible? I've complete the HR interview and now pending for offer letter (if selected). Hope for the best.

QUOTE(seventwo @ Jul 18 2019, 09:44 AM) He's still new, I think around 1 year. But always update his IG story about what he did in the office Workload I believe it's depending on your position. I'm not sure what's the exact position name, but he's dealing with the server. Even for him, working hour is not following Malaysian time. Bangsar I can say, quite bad, hard to find parking, unless you have staff parking. Accessible by LRT (Kerinchi). If you re not planning to move, then your choice is KTM - LRT If you ride motor, then it's a better choice. Yes, my family stay in Seremban, so to move it is quite difficult due to kids and my wife working in Seremban. If working hours is flexible, then should be less stressful due to commuting and traffic jam during peak hours.

Unless you’re from o&g industry, range is different I do agree with you. For me Orsted salary range i above average. I already received offer letter yesterday.

QUOTE(stanum @ Jul 25 2019, 04:39 PM) Not sure about the season parking, but expect around rm300-400 every quarter. So, around 100++ something per month. Flexible working hours depending on your team and your line manager as well. Some people come early and go back early, some people come late and go back early also have. most coming at 10am, some comes around 11am. go back at 4pm or 5pm. most of them before 6pm, already gone from the office Should be ok if i can get season parking. I believe my team need to stay back a little bit longer due to we may have meeting with Denmark counterparts. I hope my hiring manager also flexible, as long as my job done with quality and he can allow me to go back earlier. Just to know the culture here, does the hiring manager expect us to work extra hours/weekend? I mean for non-shift employees.

QUOTE(stanum @ Jul 25 2019, 04:41 PM) About 90% of employees will somehow going to Denmark around week to month for introduction, on job training, courses, etc. all teams members get chances to go Denmark. Wow, hopefully I got chance to travel to Denmark as well. Not really put high hopes since nowadays a lot of company try to cut cost from sending their employees abroad.

QUOTE(gandalfbotak @ May 11 2022, 06:00 PM) Yeah it is still depends on your current salary as well. But in term of culture, I heard it is good but can be varies on team. Turnout over are still high even though the KL team is expanding. You need to request a very high salary that can sustain your life at least for 3-5 years. It is still depends on your luck and negotiation skills. Increment is depends on your boss. Can be around 3-5%. It is standard I can say. Bonus it is max to 1.5 months but depends on your performance as well. Top performer can get between 1.3 and 1.5 but others average 1 month. It is normal for IT i guess. Turnover is something that any company cannot control because it is up to individual preferences and choices. True, Orsted KL is now expanding for engineering and procurement team. QUOTE(dattebayo @ May 20 2022, 05:45 PM) what does that mean? permanent hybrid or 100% WFO? Currently one level of Orsted office still under renovations , I would say still hybrid mode until end of the year. But some department already 100% WFO. Depends on your leader and team. Management would love to see more staffs in office to increase collaborations and social physicals interactions.

QUOTE(OO123123 @ May 23 2022, 08:56 AM) i can see plenty of the positions for engineering & procurement, sent mine and waiting for any chances of interview. Any idea how to proceed further apart from waiting?? Thanks ya.... The respond can be quite slow due to high number of applications, I would suggest you actively contact HR Talent Acquisition Partner. Normally you can get the contact person in the career page. They already put their email and phone number for you to contact. Either Jason/Haslinda/Shawn. But if there is no contact person, you always can email the general mailbox : Talent Acquisition Operations MY talentacquisitionMY@orsted.com I hope this helps. Good Luck

QUOTE(Ds0524 @ Mar 16 2023, 07:34 PM) Just received an offer from them. But will be a pay cut from current oil and gas firm. Not sure if should accept it. Anyone know how much bonus do they usually pay? Wow, oil and gas bonus are quite good. Petronas and Shell average 3-6 months. Orsted bonus is capped to 1.5 months. It is mentioned in offer letter as well previously. I’m not sure either the new hired nowdays received samw info on this. Normally you will get 1 months or 1.2 months because it is really depends on your performance.

QUOTE(vkhomas @ Mar 3 2023, 06:33 PM) My friend said after covid, no onboarding to Denmark anymore, unless it is for work, meaning not everyone will get the chance to go there. Is that true? True, not all can go but majority can go. It is really depends on time. Some just join can go, some every year go and some haven’t got chance at all. It is really depends
