Mi8/mix2s was priced 699/799 last year July by directd.
Hoping they will follow the same trend for mi9, then might get lucky to get sd855 at similar price.

Sadly it got stuck with 1.2k-ish pricing. Now still got 1.1k.

That’s why I said Mi8/Mix2s is better. Still decent specs, great camera (Mi9 don’t have OIS IINM) and almost dirt cheap price.

Hello all.

Been using this phone as a daily driver but recently noticed that the phone will auto restarts on its own, i.e. turn off then go through the entire turn on cycle by itself. Anyone facing such an issue.

I've not done anything different, except for it's usual update that prompts for a restart. Is this a sign of hardware / battery failure or a setting / update issue that can be easily fixed?

i'm also having same issue.
at a one time, my phone suddenly stuck on a bootloop. need to force into recovery mode and then seems fine until today.
i think the software itself have bugs but they don't know how to solve it lol.
sudden hang and restart is the new norm for this phone.

Oh no, previously the phone never had this issue. The only update i can think of would be the major OS update.
Good to know that i am not the only one having this issue and it's not hardware related.

Would it be possible for us to install back the earlier Android OS instead? As that seems to be more stable. Don't really enjoy the current (latest) version btw.

yep. or you can go settings>account>and tap your google account you use on the phone, you can check to sync contact and others
