QUOTE(kermit21 @ Jun 6 2022, 01:44 AM) Dear sifus, I've been using Ulove, not sure which older version but it cost about rm16k when I bought it. Looking at Osim Ulove3 with price tag of RM21K. Wifey planning to get one because of work stress and lack of time to get actual massage. Anyone using this or any comments to share with regards to Osim? Thanks sifus. So far so good, I'm still enjoy using it. I think it's best to try it out and to feel if it's suitable for her or not. Actually I'm quite tempted to upgrade, if they offer good price for my old one. Haha. kermit21 liked this post

i would think OSIM is the most premium and reputable one.
perhaps they do good marketing, and brand image. Welll- get what fits your pocket ba. Other brand also can use- each got its pro and cons. ( like Mercedes vs Myvi) Itsu- as heard is local brand. previous OGAWA founder sold OGAWA to SG company, and now restarting its own brand. Now- a few words for consideration - compare to massage outside. > massage outside definitely give better result, apply more pressure to the sensitive point. > it is cheaper or more expensive? depends how often you massage ba. if use massage chair daily then definitely cheaper. > it is convieneint- don't need drive, don't need appointment. can massage when take a nap ( i feel a bit too hot) or when watching TV. > it is more hygiene. yes- build in some cost for repair after a few years. there are parts that can subject to wear and tear. but yes- the result is more for relaxing, and cant give deep massage. PS: lets continue to keep this topic in the right context. PS 2: OSIM pannai marketing- got a menu for you pick the type of massage, and match it with music. Best effect is with the eye massager. I've got an OSIM, going to be around 5 years. i used average twice a week ba. it is wrapped up quite warm, so recommended to put near aircond. and yes- many people bought already seldom used, end up like exercise bike ( use to keep clothes which are washed, yet to fold/iron) This post has been edited by Clueless07: Jun 6 2022, 09:41 PM |

Apparently it's one of their patented features. Will update more info later and welcome any questions from Ktards. Quazacolt liked this post

I used to design and manufacture these things.
Typically the motors last a very long time. Easily 10 years. We got stuff used everyday since the 90s still ok. If there is air compressor and air bags, these usually develop leak after awhile. All the squeezing functions use air. The cushion foam will slowly get compressed over the years. So what started as comfortable, won't be after some time. The fabric, depends on what quality. Good leather will last forever with care. With some basic research you can quickly find out what fabric they use. Features and comfort you go try yourself la. Chairs are very individual things as everyone's body is different. This post has been edited by djtong: Jun 7 2022, 03:01 AM |

QUOTE(Clueless07 @ Jun 7 2022, 08:22 AM) Initially I'm curious just like you. So they have this patented IOT sensor that scan and collect info on your spine which the chair will give personalized treatment. Just like Fitbit, there's another sensor to collect your info such as BPM, HRV etc in which will indicate the stress level etc. Anyway just go check up if you are keen. Quazacolt liked this post

I have an old Ogawa massage chair. The squeezing function feels weak. |
