Upon arrival, all Banglas are given a month's course on spoken BM.
Bhai is good in the language. He picks up the language and the nuances extremely fast. Within 2 weeks, he is posted to Restoran Maulana Lana. First morning at work, a pak haji walks in. Bhai : Salam, Boss. Pak Haji : Salam. B : Nak minum apa? PH : Kopi kurang manis. B : Makan? PH : (tummy buat hal) Nanti, aku nak berak. B : Bungkus ke makan sini? |
