the higher the CFM the higher the noise level, dont think is possible for elta with 127cfm but lower noise level than airegard.

TUMA has low noise level as it is using DC motor while Airegard and ELta i believe are using AC motor.

I believe toilets nowadays are a bit small, for a moderate size toilet, assume

If you have used water heater with AC pump before, u might experience the pump noise increases overtime. While DC motor does not have this issue. So, for AC ventilation fan, noise will increase overtime as well due to wear & tear. Unlike DC "Brushless", no friction and noise remain low.

Tuma advantage is it provides more than enough CFM (70, while required 48). Low noise, energy saving & more durable with brushless dc motor. 3 years warranty with on site service, some brands require you to dismantle and send back to factory for repair.


If big bathroom require more CFM then can consider Elta or tuma IM25 (147cfm)

from photo, seems like the LED is not lilke TUMA that is easily replaceable with a regular downlight, do double check with ELTA and how much the LED cost.

for TUMA, the SUNNYGO model comes with 3 years warranty for motor & LED light.

not recommended to install two vents into one duct.

even with the lid close, air can still pass through.
