A1: It is common place for ad agencies or event organisers to contract a second supporting
company if demand for the event exceeds expectation and / or initial planning.


Q2: “I also got called from them saying things about Durian expo @midvalley these coming
Wednesday. I am eligible to receive Cash Voucher worth RM200 and a few nights at the
designated hotel we later choose. My point is this: Expo-media.net domain name has
just been registered these 3 month’s time”?
A2:Expo Media was incorporated on the 2nd of January 2000. However, recently Expo Media
has expanded its operations to Europe and the USA. Therefore a change from a
local domain to an international was appropriate.









Q3: “Who sponsors those gifts”?
A3: All awards are sponsored by the event organisers or their guests presenting to the
public. In our experience, all companies hold a percentage of sales to invest in
advertising.


Q4: “If everyone go and sit there wait for the prizes, where they find the fund to supports all
these gifts”?
A4: Please see the answer above…

Q5: “Just wondering... what do they want for us”.
A5:Our events are designed to brand a company to a consumer through a positive experience. Trail advertising (which may include a humble tasting sample of a company’s produce to a month long trail of a super yacht ) is designed to give a positive experience between the advertised product and the potential client in a way printed publications or television advertisements cannot. Companies now brand their products with this “enhanced experience” and gain future loyal / repeat business. The potential customer trails the product, service or produce without financial commitment, usually within a pleasant environment where the potential customer is then rewarded or made to feel important or special in some relevant manner.


Q6: “My colleague also received calls a few times and finally he said he want to go and the lady asked him a few question included his household income, when he said less than A6: RM14k per month then the lady said sorry he was not qualified”.

While I cannot comment on the status of this post you refer to, I can confirm that feedback of this nature is a common occurrence with incentivized events.

I will not comment further on your post other than to say, there is no scam needed. Advertising (be it a page in a publication, a mass media blast on tv / radio or an incentive to trail a product) is paid by corporations to benefit the public for future financial gain of the corporation sponsoring the incentives.

We are pleased to informed you that neither ourselves as organizers or the sponsors whom host events are racist in their selection. Event holders provide their own own research on whom is their most responsive potential customers may be.

Therefore, neither organizers or sponsors choose the profile, we just follow it. The profile of those prepaid to attend otherwise open to the public events is driven and created purely by those that make the most frequent purchases or whom are the most frequent consumers or customers otherwise.

I hope this serves to clarify out position in this matter and we most humbly apologize for any confusion that our qualification process may have inadvertently created.
