got, i saw some cheap ass RM150 ovation ripoff copy.
the top very plastic and thin, feel like CD casing.

Gosh... Pay for Rm150 and all I got is a plastic top?? Kapok should be a much better deal then!!

this might be a bit out of topic but once i saw at cash converter ampangpoint a bc rich mockingbird w/ green colored plexiglass body going for about rm2k... looks nice... dunno how it would sound though...

RM2k? blah, ripoff.
i remember when they where first released here about 6-7yrs or so ago, were priced at RM1800 brand new.

then the ripoffs, ironwood, brought them in after that and sold them for IIRC RM2400.

Actually it not so famous in Malaysia but the sound is nice...now Asthon guitar mainly made in Vietnam although is Australia brand...
