QUOTE(Cloud0890 @ Jul 7 2019, 12:29 PM) Samsung are not doing it because they are fond of it, they are doing it simply for the NA market. They need Qualcomm's modem for compatibility with NA bands. If Samsung had it their way it would ALL be Exynos and no SD variants. They don't use Exynos in the US because Qualcomm owns some CDMA patent that Samsung can't use in the US.

QUOTE(hellsphinx @ Jul 11 2019, 11:03 AM) I dont have the nylon bumper case to compare with. If compare to spigen rugged armor/standard clear case, side by side, it is slightly thicker overall. Not really noticeable if you dont have them side by side. From the upper pop up camera cut out and the bottom charging port, I can see the difference in wall thickness. But when compare the height to the spigen rugged armor side by side, the difference is very minimal. oh, and the lips...the best so far all around. Where did you bought yours? I'm looking for one but with bumper only.

QUOTE(hellsphinx @ Jul 11 2019, 03:17 PM) I bought it directly from their website. Our Malaysian reseller currently don't have/haven't bring them in yet. Is it free shipping? The one I want is still on preorder :| Also what courier did they used? Did the courier called?

Yep. It's the refresh rate.
Even on monitors. I went from 60hz to 144hz. Now 60hz feels very laggy even after decades of using it.

QUOTE(zubayr @ Jul 23 2019, 09:08 AM) ASUS ROG Phone II (12GB RAM/512GB storage) is priced at NTD 26,990 (~$870) roughly equate around RM4k - 4.5k when landed to our shores? Just wait a few months and it'll go down rapidly.

QUOTE(ace-user @ Aug 2 2019, 02:33 PM) Been using Whitestone dome for 2 - 3 weeks so far no problem. Whitestone's installation kit is superb, but too bad after some time you'll have a lot of dusts stick at the edge of the tempered glass. Now XianFeng has screen protection warranty, only for RM79. I think I'm gonna get it and then just lose the screen protector Can avail on existing XianFeng sets?

QUOTE(ace-user @ Aug 4 2019, 11:14 AM) It's not addition warranty, it's screen protection warranty. On Lazada/shopee official OnePlus store. Nice. https://www.lazada.com.my/products/instapro...736egbHqL8&mp=1

QUOTE(haziqmck7 @ Aug 17 2019, 08:32 PM) Ya bro. Test it myself. Chrome reduced to 60hz refresh rate only. Duhhh. I just forced it to 90hz all times: adb shell settings put global oneplus_screen_refresh_rate 0 Now my chrome is back to 90hz. This post has been edited by Radec: Aug 18 2019, 12:59 AM

When swiping out notifications, how to remove the annoying popup that says something like "do you want to mute or turn off notifications on this app?"

QUOTE(Illsense @ Aug 22 2019, 05:52 PM) Usually will happen only once per app. Then it won't ask again for that app. It keeps poping up several times on mine. Like the lazada app.

QUOTE(ChipZ @ Oct 15 2019, 10:59 AM) I am also torn between S10e vs 7T. My main preference is camera, smoothness and battery. Now banking hope on 7T, hopefully it wont be too costly. I recently bought an s10e for my sister last month. I used it for a few days. The size of the s10e is perfect. Camera is great as well. But once you have used a 90hz or more display, you'll get used to it and going back to phones with 60hz is very noticeable. If any phone manufacturer will make a phone as small as the s10e with atleast 90hz, I'd buy that asap.
