Oneplus 7 user here. Just noticed this morning i cant access several websites and map based apps like rainalarm or flightradar24. Even oneplus forum inaccessible, but youtube, insta and fb messenger loads very fast. Switched to wifi(unifi) and everything could be accessed as usual. Did a phone restart to no avail only workaround is to use wifi.

Am using Digi not sure if there is intermittent connection issue with this telco, phone is showing 4g+ with full signal bar. Anyone having this problem now?

I wash my phones (Oneplus, IPhone, Samsung) when it gets a bit too dirty under a running tap. I even bring my phones together when I go swimming, but I only use them for picture taking, checking for messages, answering calls etc. I dont dip my phones in the pool. Have not encountered any issues whatsoever.

On whether manufacturers should be provided warranty is debatable. That is why Oneplus never certifies IP rating for its phones. Whats the point when they wouldn't be providing warranty for it anyway? There is actually a litmus paper which will turn colour once water seeps too deep into your IPhone. You can remove the sim tray and shine a light into the sim tray and check the colour of the litmus paper inside. If the paper has turned red, Apple will reject warranty outright for the phone. On older models, the litmus paper will be inside the headphone jack or charging port.

Washing under the tap doesn't necessarily make the phone cleaner though... wet issues are more ideal imo.
