There was a topic on how to connect hypptv wirelessly somewhere on this forum. Search for it because I also cannot memorize its link..
Anywhere, the easiest way to connect stb is by using home plugs. No hassle at all. I'm also using home plug.. No need to figure out anything, other than how to pair the home plugs, then connect lan #4 to one of the home plug.. done..

QUOTE(zikree @ Jul 1 2019, 09:12 AM) Dear TS, I suggest you to change the new STB that have wifi feature. Report 100 and ask for change. Sometime ago, I called TM, asking to change for stb that has build in wifi.. They said they wont do it unless the original stb is broken.. So, now, I'm still using stb first version, connected via home plugs..

QUOTE(pokjak @ Jul 8 2019, 04:23 PM) They will replace by giving you two option. Option 1, you gotta pay around 300 for the new stb (no need to extend contract) or option 2, they'll replace it for free but need to extend your acc on a new contract for 2 years. Or there's another option, which is buying a used one (should be cheaper than buying from TM, can try looking around in garage sales thread, or at mudah) and call TM to change the stb MAC address in your account. Damnn ... TM didnt even told me all the choices that you mentioned above.. They just blatantly told me, i cannot change it unless it's broken. Full stop.. Anyway, thank you for the information.. I think I'm going to stay with my current stb after reading all the cons about wifi stb (low quality and not using separate bandwidth).. This post has been edited by zeese: Jul 8 2019, 04:44 PM
