There is theorically a convoluted way to add WiFi support. No guarantee that it will work, but if you have some money to spare it’s worth a shot.
First you need an AP. Any AP will do, as long as it can deliver Wireless N or better. Do NOT use a Wireless router since it will NAT the incoming connection, and you do NOT want it to do that. You need an AP only device.
You will also need a WiFi to Ethernet extender.
Theoretically a pair of D-Link DAP-1665 should do the job- one act as AP, the other act as Extender.
Power up the AP. Configure the AP with a private address (192.168.x.y). Plug in the AP to the IPTV port of the router. Power up the router.
Power up the Ethernet converter, again configure it with a 192.168.x.y address, but different one from the AP. Configure it to connect to the AP although it’d be smart to have “x” with the same value.
Now plug the Hypp TV box into the Extender. Power it up.
Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I’ve not tried it myself, but in theory it should work.
Good luck!
Honestly tho, I’ve went the very easy route and sideloaded the Play@UniFi app (tablet version) onto an Android box since I signed up for the 2-devices-free promo. It still doesn’t have some channels for some reason (ie Australia+ TV) but for me, it’s good enough.
