QUOTE(KuzumiTaiga @ Jul 15 2019, 12:21 AM) anyone here using IKEA kitchen cabinet? Want to ask regarding gas tank location, where do you store your gas tank ya? the design draft I got from IKEA staff gave me a 40cm shelf unit beside the hob, BUT I came home to measure my petronas gas tank the width is at 46cm, definitely won't fit, how do you guys solve it ya? why not opt for 60cm wide carcass?

QUOTE(KuzumiTaiga @ Jul 15 2019, 01:21 AM) BTW just to share experience for IKEA quotation vs Signature Kitchen + Rowenda. for the exact same things (with minor differences) but same measurement, rowenda quoted 26k, signature quoted 35k (after "discount"), IKEA quoted 17k (+3k for installation or free if DIY). and IKEA also uses imported blum hinges + dampeners from Austria Yo bro. I also in the midst of getting ikea KC. Mine total for top is 10ft and bottom 20 feet (mixture of L shape n I shape) around 9k± without installation (been told by ikea own stuff i can DIY it, the hardest part is just to install the rail. N make sure its atraight) Whats your counter top choice? Quartz series from ikea is at expensive side right

QUOTE(ceo684 @ Aug 23 2019, 10:22 AM) I was thinking to get a base from Ikea cabinets done and then only get a stone top (probably from those stone top suppliers in Sg Buloh or sth). Is it feasible to mount? I think it should not be a big issue to mount using little L brackets or sth rite? Should be doable. im planning for ikea KC + quartz / granite table top. The quartz supplier just ask to add a layer of playwood (2-5mm thick). maybe the supplier will add on something more to reinforce it. btw, also i asked ikea staff (kc section), their carcass may hold about 30kg of load per carcass (base)
