Hi all, want to ask for your opinion/ suggestion.

I bought a condo unit (to be completed next year) which comes furnished with kitchen cabinet, hood & hob and sink. Recently I found out about the kitchen cabinet design (in the pic). Personally, I would like the top cabinet to be built all the way up to the ceiling for more storage; a big sink and a side-by-side hob. Besides, I would like to build additional kitchen cabinet to form a galley style layout, so I am afraid that the cabinet material and design won’t match. I have asked the developer, if I choose to opt out, I might not get a refund.

What’s a better option? Ask developer to leave the cabinet materials there (but not built) perhaps I could reuse the materials? Or remove/ modify the cabinet after I move in? Or opt out and no refund...

Where to source the materials i.e., glass door and window? Can the kitchen cabinet maker install the door and window or I need to hire another contractor to do it?
