Not really.

I think I was either in AV mode or M mode, don't quite remember. I did not use Auto mode during the whole trip.

Pic no 2 is commendable, although ur angle abit senget otherwise it will be a fantastic pic.

Pic no 3 will be better if u take it as a wide angle shot.

only pic #2 is nice IMO best among the lot BY FAR. too bad it's slightly off cos if it was symmetrical then it'll be great.

#1 decent, lop-sided.
#3 normal
#4 could be better
#5 focus on the bright part, not the dark part.
#6 normal

Interesting composition but like beck said..they look underexposed.

The Sony Ericsson shots seems very dark. I expected the silver to look shinier compared to the black background. Wait..is there even such a word as shinier?

if this was a promo advert shots for a certain company (by the logo on teh side of the car), then its a great shot. but if its a shot of the car itself, should use smaller aperture setting, f2.8 maybe, at least, a big portion of the toy car will see clearly...

in my honoust opinion lah.. i'm newbie as well...

and another thing, ur other pics, like the island, the colors really like not canon usual colors. i think ur camera setting is off a bit...
or i think u r using picture style?

Er, I'm using kit lens, I don't think I can go down to 2.8, the max was 3.5 smile.gif

Erm those pictures went through post-processing, I like my pictures to be of a little contrasting smile.gif Canon 400D colors are washed out so I suppose post-processing is a must smile.gif

Not really a lot, but when I'm taking a picture I'll first visualise which part I will want to crop out and make space to compromise it smile.gif
