May agree that the conti's that have their battery at the rear boot can last longer due to less heat to reach there but the battery used by these cars are AGM type which is not lead acid/maintenance free type therefore the lifespan for AGM battery aka deep cycle battery can last more than 3 years but in order to get it change, it can cost you some $$.
