yes. the car porch length (and road width) is all stated in the masterplan/floorplan in the SnP. THat's the very first thing I check before I sign my SnP 2 years ago. All the measurements and dimension of each room must be followed by developer.

This house cost me 208k :|

Check your SnP to verify. I was offered 188k for ground (level 1) unit with 11x25 feet porch size . But I prefer the ones (3 storey) nearing the corner, that gives me 22 x 25 porch size, hence the additional 20k ,becoming 208k.

I think 25 feet is the longest car porch in Amansiara. 25 feet is about 7.6 metres, can easily fit a Saga + Kelisa.

The minimum porch length is 16 feet.

I'm free at 10am. but this means some of the guys below can;t make it:

Me same unit type with you: double porch, no balcony, bedroom dark. I plan to paint the slope white and/or grow some flowers there, and treat my upstairs (behind) neighbours good so they won't throw rubbish down the gap between their porch that will end up into my yard.

Well, the house price dropping won't effect us if we PLAN TO LIVE in it , and make full use of it. It will only affect us if we wish to sell it off and profit a bit =)

If house price everywhere are expected to drop, guess everyone should hold on to their units, make the best of the situation.

btw, since you live in selayang heights now. hows the temperature at nite? many people claimed its cooling and there no need to turn on the aircon.

Selayang heights = Andari Villa = apartments opposite Amansiara

I taken a photo of the yard of Phase 1/L1 few months ago. It's suprisingly wide, about 7feet at least. I hope this applies to all other L1 units as well.

closing the gap totally will stop the sunlight from shining in. It's like a batcave already =)
I probably will buy/DIY a net of some sort be installed there ,to trap whatever the upper level neighbours neighbours throw down, collect, then dump em back to their porch.

Ooh.. I got what silvertron meant. For 3-storey unit, above L1's backyard would be L3 and L4 (since L2 non-existent), hence.. viewable by them from the porch.

For 4-storey unit, only L2 yard can look down and see L1 a bit.

regarding the place, any suggestion, guys? I don't know Selayang that well, please suggest a place where many cars can be parked (assume each one of us drive to the gathering place). Don't forget, some of us don't have the keys/sticker yet, need to ride in the car of those who already gotten their keys/sticker into the site. Thankx in advance first for the car pool ya! =)


Regarding the "later comers". I guess for those who can't make it at 10am, you guys can organise a gathering that fits all your time lo this Sat. Maybe some of us early birds can join u later on (but not me, I've got another apptment in the late afternoon)

I scared the guards will know we are up to something , and prevent us from going into the site in such a way. I'm also curious, selayang heights allow outsiders park inside their area? I thought only visitors are allowed in.

Agree. The road width will not change/reduce with the addition of new row.

But then again, for those buying the units at the (initially) furthest row, they expect a nice green view in front of them, and there could be chances of some 'grassy" (buffer) and opposite the road that could be used as unofficial parking areas. The new row totally killed such anticipation and hope. And this also "introduced" additional parking woes by the neighbours at the opposite row.

From my observation on the narrow roads, the only way to solve congestion is to make them one-way.

A P1 L1 corner unit near P2/P3 intrigues me. It's yard is very long! At least 9 feet.

for Level1-ers ,Did any of you guys have a yard longer than 6 feet? (as stated in SnP.
