@killerfly does ur family uses maxis postpaid?if they do maybe can change ur line to a supplementary line and ask ur family member to use it like once a month |

by default if your on postpaid supplementary it will be talk plan..u have to call up CS or wtv to change it to sms plan

yeah the adjacent and non adjacent charges are absurd
 anyway heard that maxis is gonna abolish talk and sms plan soon and everyone would be on total plan no matter what |

Hotlink 3G is for prepaid users and Maxis 3G is for postpaid users i guess
anyway its still 3G,just the charges are different for prepaid and postpaid |

maxis has EDGE.not so sure about hotlink though
 coverage should be the same as GPRS if im not mistaken which means almost everywhere |
