Budget : Rm5k+
Usage : - gaming (dota 2, far cry, dying light, cod and so on) - design software such as autocad, solid work or Photoshop - movies & anime - web surfing
Requirements : - High quality display for movie and anime - don't want to have eye fatigue or eye strain for prolonged usage - Good quality and high durability keyboard (or maybe just normal keyboard if budget is constrain for it) - Lightweight if possible
I looked some of custom laptop - Illegear laptop seems a good deal - Can you recommend me any other custom notebook brand?

Hmm what about gaming laptop? Because for now I'm just a university student so might not really need a business laptop. Just need a laptop (around 5k if possible) that can support my game and do my assignment.

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Oct 6 2019, 11:17 PM) Best bang for buck rn is probably Legion Y7000 SE (9750H+1660Ti/2060, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD+1TB SSD, 144Hz, Intel 9560). Or Level51 Forge 15 Pro. Commandos Glock 5+ is cheap, but it only has i5 (i7 upgrade is expensive) and need to add another 8GB RAM (for dual channel) Note that for Forge 15 Pro and Glock 5+, you need to go to their stores to try out may i know why forge 15 pro need to be try out at their store?i thought can purchase online right?

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Oct 8 2019, 10:01 AM) Pros: Decent build quality+cooling, decent input devices, decent audio quality, optional 144Hz, OK battery life (with Hybrid mode on), MUX (can turn on/off Optimus, if off you'll get max GPU performance), onsite warranty Cons: Red accents, heatsink quality can be hit or miss, new BIOS slightly reduces fan speed (though not a big issue from what I see) Decent? So it's not as good as forge 15 pro? But it's seriously the best value laptop after the discount. 5k+ with i7 9 gen + rtx and 1tb ssd + 1tb hhd

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Oct 10 2019, 05:43 PM) Using discount code? Looks good but do you need 32GB RAM though Decided that i dont need 32gb so i change it to 16gb ram. Choose a rm50 bag instead and it will cost me rm5000+.
