help..installed new ram but laptop not accept it, read the topic

could u try 1 more time? confirm it properly install inside the slot. or try to swap each ram's position. put the 256 in slot 1, then put 512 in slot2. one more thing is the electronic part & ram,its quite sensitive, becarefull the electrostatic. or try to use yo ram to yo fren's laptop (the one u mentioned use fujitsu,no problem), if it oso cant use, that mean the ram problem, u should take it back to change.
