there is no such thing as slim fit, only regular fit for chickens legs.

I also like loose fit because I hate to show off my superfit body around town.

It is those fatty that insist to wear tight fit and look like a stuff teddy bear that is unrealistic.

Best is get it tailored, go for tailored fit. Without pesak. Still look traditional and practical with less bagginess.

indeed. sometimes feel kecewa no straight cut type... end up bought those double the size at least ada angin sikit. pants kinda hard to agak2 the measurement... cincai beli end up longgar and the fabric is like stretchy type... haiz... wear out sure ppl see i look like pandan.

I can confirm slim fit is a curse really. Blame the idiotic foreign designers. Slim fit is big problem. The clothes are not made to be worn. I mean seriously. Hard to wear. And not good at mobility at all. When the clothes are wet/damp it is even worse.

I saw one video of a family raya last year, the guy had a slim fit baju melayu. Because it was hot and his clothes is damp with sweat, the armpit part tore.



Just last week i saw ppl at Jln TAR people trying slim fit baju melayu like so difficult to put on.

Only last year slim fit clothes with stretchable fabrics gained traction. But last year most of the foreign designer already abandon slim fit for baggy cuts again.

China would not change the style soon. It is simple. If they can make 5 slim fit shirts compared to only 4 regular cut shirts, it makes economic sense to them. Nothing to do with style at all.
