QUOTE(ShinAsakura @ Feb 12 2008, 12:04 AM) Well.. if im not mistaken.. it sold here in msia.. i think i've read it in http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/290518/ ... but still need to re-confirm that.. edit: yup.. confirm got sell in msia.. yeah!! this is a quote from Ratatosk who went to the shop at UE3 - somewhere in Cheras along Jln Lok Yew.. QUOTE(Ratatosk @ Aug 4 2006, 10:30 AM) Just checked out ArtFriend yesterday. This post has been edited by maxim.Freaks: Feb 12 2008, 01:10 AMPlenty of paints, inks, paper, wood, brassrods, stencils, brushes etc etc... Also a whole range of Badger airbrushes. All the double action Badger ABs selling for 488. But there's a 10%discount after paying rm10 for membership. Also Badger compressed air canisters, small rm36, large rm56. The large one, from what a guy told me, is enough for painting 3 modelling kits. There's also a selection of 'cheap'-er Badger single actions with plastic handles. There are a few boxsets, small air can, plastic singleaction AB, hose, connectors, regulator etc... for 300+ But I still find these boxsets expensive. Cos in S'pore, I found a few taiwan imitations of the exact same design going for sgd58, without the small air can. The air compressors are expensive. The ones with moisture trap etc going for 1200+. Best option so far is still Venus Art... |

retarder is not a must for acrylic...
unless you want to use it for hand painting.. retarder make the paint dry slowly.. so.. it give u enuf time to smoothen and let the paint level before it dries.. |

QUOTE(MechaHerc @ Feb 13 2008, 03:44 PM) yes. i'm paint with handpainting.. so is best to mix with retarder izzit? but if i don want to mix it, is there any problem will occur? mmm.. i dont think there will be any problem with it..except that the paint will be fast dry.. and most probably will leave brush mark on the model.. but still it depends on the thinner and paint mixing ratio and also skills.. QUOTE(MechaHerc @ Feb 15 2008, 04:52 PM) oo.. ok, so using brush to paint? i think using marker is better becoz don have brush stroke problem Mmm.. if u are refering to no.4 ..i think the one whose giving the opinion is referring on how to color the panel line.. and for panel lining a very fine brush + enamel would be the best compared to gundam marker.. if you dont understand what i mean.. just refer here --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpXiwQnnJ3I try to watch at minute 6:20.. |
