Yesterday, i was cleaning my CPU Fan so detach the fan & clean off those thermal paste but previously i put too much paste so the processor surface were a thick layer off paste. I used toilet paper to wipe it off but some of the paste went to the edge side between the processor green board & i was careless when wipe the edge & some of the paste stick on the green board. I was a bit panic & pour in alot of zippo lighter fluid to liquid those thermal paste on the processor green board & wipe it off. When pouring the zippo fluid accidently pour too much,soaking the whole surface & those thermal paste on the proc suface were liquid went all over the proccesor but lucky it didnt hit the socket of the processor.

I have clean off those paste as clean as possible but what i'm worried is that the liquid thermal paste may went inside the processor. Will there be any problems if using the processor in long terms as currently using it with no problems?

Is there any thread regarding why there's lines coming out of no where when playing game? If yes please show me, I don't know what to type if u ask me to google it, there are lines when i played game, although not really serious but kinda distracting me..

u switch to 115v, and plug it in, guarantee ur psu will blow immediately

lol, i know it actuallyy.. but wonder why my psu change 3 times with different brand and different system still burn less then 6 months each? thats why im become not so convinced..

the 1st wan is chapalang, 350w only, i understand why it burn.. the second one is raptoxx 550w true power for my am2 and 6800gs, sure enuff somemore not overclock.. the third one is enermax.. see? im really bad luck with psu..

what's the difference of a graphic card's memory DDR....

such as:
8600GT 512MB DDR2
8600GT 256MB DDR3

why DDR2.. DDR3... i don't know there are PCI-e with DDR2 or DDR3

ddr 3 gives better performance compare with ddr 2 ...... n ddr3 still very new ..... if for nowdays games ... i think ddr 2 enough to support all  .....

u get the x2 from the double in Double Data Rate (DDR) lar

Hey, I am currently using amd athlon x2 5000+, when my pc is idle, i check the temperature, its always around 15 degree celcius only. Is that normal? I already tried using different software to check the temperature, examples are hwmonitor and coretemp.

15 degrees is considered very very low

SLI is the name of nvidia's version of using 2 GC or more for more processing power

a mobo that has 2 pci-e slots does not means it support sli for sure, cos there's also ATI's version, the CrossFire.

and yes, even if u have an SLI or CrossFire board, you can use any cards on it, not necessarily must have 2 GC only can run. any single PCI-e cards will usually works on SLI/Crossfire.

Set a network connection btw 1st laptop to second laptop.
Go to control panel -->> Network Connection -->> New Connection Wizard --> then follow whatever u want there.
for my case i use router to connect 3 computer together.

i got a 1gb ddr1 ram.if i buy more 1gb ddr1 ram.Can this possible can increase my performance?
because i heard some said 1(ram)+1=1,some said 1+1=2.
i don't want to waste money buy 1 more ddr1 ram and the speed are same with the previous ram.
i am confused.any pro can help me?

Lowyat got sell. Try Sri Computer, you say you want the LAN cable that connects PC to PC, not PC to modem/router. I bought mine there, should be yellow colour. That is the LAN crossover cable.

Note: Colour might change.
