some question at here.... I haven't try overcloaking yet. Totally noob in overcloacking. I heard that CPU overcloaking can be done by adjusting the frequency of CPU. When I wanna adjust the CPU frequency in BIOS, the system does not allow me to change the frequency. How come?? The manufacturer restricted my BIOS setting?? My MOBO is P5B.

My Asus P4s533-x mobo manual book says can support ddr ram up to ddr333 or pc2700.
Can i install ddr 400 pc3200 ram on it ?
*
Yes, I think U can install the ddr400 RAM.

I think ddr400 will only be running at lower speed in ur Mobo ~!

Pls check properly before buying ~!

Can we slot in a normal RAM with a performance RAM at the same time?
*
U should be able to do that but not recommended as Ur performance ram will be running lower speed or timing as ur normal RAM~!

8800GT better than gts
*
U shouldn't say that, 8800GT is better than the old version of GTS but the new GTS revision should be better~! nod.gif

Ultra noob here
DDRII ram
Which better 4-4-4-12 or 5-5-5-12?
How bout normal type RAM= X-X-X-XX ?

hmm.gif
*
Lower timing means better performance for example normal ram will be able to run 5-5-5-12

Performance RAM should be able to run either 4-4-4-12 or 3-3-3-9 and etc.... laugh.gif

not talking about price ler...so put price aside..

just wondering which would be better only.....
*
I remember P35 is capable of running 8GB of RAM.

so I totally recommend to run 2 X 2GB if budget is totally ignorable for U as U can upgrade straight to 4 X 2 GB without doing any other thing. icon_rolleyes.gif

But when U r talking on OC ing part, most review site agree on one part, bigger size RAM is harder to OC.

Can this proc AMD x2 3600 and Intel E2*** play Crysis ? (or upcoming high-end games)

( with other decent hardware of course )

I also want to know how long this proc can last b4 its outdated?
*
If U don't mind playing 640 x 480 or 800 x 600, I think shouldn't be a problem to play, right ? (Not sure the game support 640 x 480) hmm.gif
