nop actually.
If you find it slow, you can always OC your E4500.
But I never see E4500 result. Its M0 stepping doh.gif
E2140 also using M0 stepping. But E2140 can do 400mhz bus, dont know wheter E4500 can or not.
actually i just want to upgrade from my current Pentium D 3.0Ghz only. coz i know and realise even before i bought HD3850 that this card will bottleneck my processor (of coz IM HOPING NOT but that is what i found from searching at uncle google cry.gif cry.gif ). right now im hunting for cheap processor that can handle my HD3850 very well indeed. any suggestion?

*about overclock, imm totally noob and i will not OC anything though. sweat.gif

sata is indeed faster IMO.

but IF ure uusing PATA HDD with SATA converter to connect to SATA plug. i think the speed will be reduced to pATA speed only, no?

the benefit is u still can use ur pata HDD to connect to SATA motherboard without need to buy new SATA HDD. well, im not sure though. expert here can prove im wrong anyway

How to i check whether do i have enuf power for it?
*
well in my case. i hav HD3850 and the requirement said it needs at least 450W PSU so that the card can run properly. since i just hav 300W PSU i keep it in the box ATM doh.gif

check at ur PSU there how many watt it produce. and check ur GC how many watt it needed to power it up.

nah, it just my opinion. maybe expert here got other solution hmm.gif

i think ive found the solution for this problem. i bought this wire for RM18 and connect to tv via normal av port (the red, yellow, white thingy). and it works fine. the colour is great and when im watching movie, the video and pictures are awesome.

user posted image

ps:please dun care i connect the white to red as my yellow wire is kaput already. to save some budget i connect to yellow port at tv through red wire instead. biggrin.gif

give you a clue. IEEE1394 is firewire port, but driver i don't know.
usually black & white on TV can be fixed by change "colour system" in TV menu setting, PAL or NTSC thing.
also check this in your lappy display setting for TV out.

some TV u can change like that like my 14' TV. but my big one (the one i use to connect my PC) i cant find that setting though blink.gif . another choice i think u can set via control panel of ur GC provider. ie : im setting through ATI control panel for NTSC. and final choice will be through BIOS. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif
