Hi Ecko,

Full Servicing ? such as ? cause just last 10 days ago already service. But I'm not sure "Full Services" in which kind of length consider full Service.

hm.. Come to think about it. I thought kenari tank fuel are slightly larger ? (but anyway, is the same engine.. hmm.gif )

Let me give some spec just to indicate first,

A 3 Years Old Kenari Auto 1.0
Normal Driving : Revs on 2000 ~ 3000 RPM
Take Over Cars : 3000 ~ 5000 RPM (depends on situation)

Car Enhancement : Stock With Minor Adjustment

Add in Enhancement : Pivot Volts Stabilizers , Pivot Spark Earth And K & N Drop in Filter.

fuel tank capacity for kenari is 40liters and its stock weight is 865 to 880 kg

for kelisa is 40 litres also with weight around 801 to 811 kg

so both full tank can take in as much as RM76.8 on ron97(RM1.92/l) if tank is totally empty.

dijinn also driving birdie like me HAHAHAHAHA

my kenari manual RM60 can go 450km if i'm not driving fast. driving fast about 380km.

im only using pivot VS and K&n drop in filter, but probably its your K&N is dirty already. either that, when you're due for a service, go change your sparkplugs as well - that might be the case.

Tester - my kenari only fits 30liters. says so on the manual and at the pump, too.

coz kenari kelisa dun have low fuel warning mar. so when the gauge touches Empty, actually u have around 10lite more petrol. thats why when u pump full, oni can go in 30litre mar

DjiNn -
1. unplug ya battery then plug back to reset the ECU, then monitor your consumption
2. check tyre pressure
3. throw those rubbish stuff out from ya car. less weight is always better
4. If you just service your car, make sure the engine oil vicosity is correct.

I am driving a 2 months plus Kenari Auto. The full tank is RM60. And the fuel consumption is not more than 320km. I feel bad too. When I drive until 100km, the rpm is around 3400rpm. Went to Perodua Service for tuning, but the mechanic said that the engine can't be tuned. Weird. Anyone can help? Thanks!

well maybe you got a dirty air filter ? can't be sure, cause I just check my drop in K & N filter... is freaking black.. (maybe the cause of the fuel consumption ? ) so I bought the cleaner already.

I will clean once I let you guys know the result.. (which is until my fuel tank goes E)

dun waste ya $$ on SAFC. piggy will not work in our car. after dyno tune it will look nice, but after a few days, your ECU will compensate the settings back.

not really. the perodua ECU isn't a super learner ECU like some hondas. once learning your driving style after 1000kms, it will set the settings there, unless you reset it, it will never relearn. a SAFC will work best as it forces the settings onto the ECU.

it is not as simple as that bro. you can check that with Team Trial Spirit Kelisa group and a few ZTH kelisa/kenari fellars. you can even chech with GT AUTO.

as for the AFC Neo, I see if I want to put or not la~. cause I head a lot of people said those piggy are meant for "BIG cars / Engine only" putting on our EJ-DE might work.. but not the full potential of the AFC Neo la ? (correct ah ? laugh.gif )

not really. the SAFC can unlock potential, heck, speedworks tuned their kenari and it ended up producing 18 more bhp (i cant remeber exact number, check at their website) but of course, with thier exhaust piping and K&N filter charger kit la laugh.gif

you mean putting those ECU piggyback? 18hp... not bad for 1k la~ laugh.gif

so kev da man, you got yourself a SAFC yourself as well ?

no, what kev da man mean is you need to change the air intake + exhaust + safc to get 18hp gain. check the picture i attach from speedworks. Anyway, dyno run done in Speedworks the HP is always higher than other places. If you were the maintain the same settings and just do a dyno run in LINKS or GT AUTO, the hp u will get is much lower. speedworks dyno tuning doh.gif anyway. furthermore, the hp shows in the chart if not mistaken is on engine not on wheel.

attach the pdf as you can see the HP is only 50hp, after Dyno tune with SAFC only gain 0.87hp. This is done in GT AUTO. Do bear in mind this car has the full speedworks xhaust and air intake. look at the chart, what he got was only 50hp + 1hp(SAFC). After a week or so, went for a dyno run. Surprising the HP was no longer at 51 but lower. ( it might be effected by the humidity and temperature of the day)

if you want to reconfirm on this, try to look for kelisa187 in k2oc or kelisaclub. Around 3 years back, the $$ that he spend on a kelisa can get u a new kancil 660 to mod his car NA. what he got from there...97hp on wheel or engine i can't remember.

or you can look for kelisa6009 in ZTH to confirm on the SAFC or cclem(Team Trial Tuning) in K2OC/ZTH

er you mean decorbonize the engine ? I already did that last week ago.

Already Change to iridium spark plug .

But Manual Kenari is confirm much save fuel then the auto~.

will try again to since I just pump my RM60 and retest it again.

if it aint due to mods, then it could be spoilt oxygen sensor located at the throttle body/ clogged filters/ leaking fuel system/ check tyre pressure/ spark plugs? /

if it aint those, it could be yur right foot

will let everybody know onces my fuel tank reach 0.

at the moment, there is no problem on my filters (just wash it last weekends) , there is no leaking fuel (already ask technician check), no wrong spark plugs.. (just change to iradium)

tyre pressure are stay at 220. so no problem.

about the spoilt oxygen sensor I haven't check there yet.

Thanks!

Normal for Auto Kenari.

If this has been a Proton car, everyone will be complaining like mad already.
