fuel tank capacity for kenari is 40liters and its stock weight is 865 to 880 kg
for kelisa is 40 litres also with weight around 801 to 811 kg so both full tank can take in as much as RM76.8 on ron97(RM1.92/l) if tank is totally empty. |

dijinn also driving birdie like me HAHAHAHAHA
my kenari manual RM60 can go 450km if i'm not driving fast. driving fast about 380km. im only using pivot VS and K&n drop in filter, but probably its your K&N is dirty already. either that, when you're due for a service, go change your sparkplugs as well - that might be the case. Tester - my kenari only fits 30liters. says so on the manual and at the pump, too. |

I am driving a 2 months plus Kenari Auto. The full tank is RM60. And the fuel consumption is not more than 320km. I feel bad too. When I drive until 100km, the rpm is around 3400rpm. Went to Perodua Service for tuning, but the mechanic said that the engine can't be tuned. Weird. Anyone can help? Thanks!

QUOTE(kev da man @ Jun 29 2007, 06:27 PM) not really. the SAFC can unlock potential, heck, speedworks tuned their kenari and it ended up producing 18 more bhp (i cant remeber exact number, check at their website) but of course, with thier exhaust piping and K&N filter charger kit la you mean putting those ECU piggyback? 18hp... not bad for 1k la~ so kev da man, you got yourself a SAFC yourself as well ? |

no, what kev da man mean is you need to change the air intake + exhaust + safc to get 18hp gain. check the picture i attach from speedworks. Anyway, dyno run done in Speedworks the HP is always higher than other places. If you were the maintain the same settings and just do a dyno run in LINKS or GT AUTO, the hp u will get is much lower. speedworks dyno tuning
attach the pdf as you can see the HP is only 50hp, after Dyno tune with SAFC only gain 0.87hp. This is done in GT AUTO. Do bear in mind this car has the full speedworks xhaust and air intake. look at the chart, what he got was only 50hp + 1hp(SAFC). After a week or so, went for a dyno run. Surprising the HP was no longer at 51 but lower. ( it might be effected by the humidity and temperature of the day) if you want to reconfirm on this, try to look for kelisa187 in k2oc or kelisaclub. Around 3 years back, the $$ that he spend on a kelisa can get u a new kancil 660 to mod his car NA. what he got from there...97hp on wheel or engine i can't remember. or you can look for kelisa6009 in ZTH to confirm on the SAFC or cclem(Team Trial Tuning) in K2OC/ZTH This post has been edited by lonewolf: Jun 29 2007, 09:13 PM Attached thumbnail(s) Attached File(s)

if it aint due to mods, then it could be spoilt oxygen sensor located at the throttle body/ clogged filters/ leaking fuel system/ check tyre pressure/ spark plugs? /
if it aint those, it could be yur right foot |

QUOTE(blasturanus @ Jul 23 2007, 03:02 PM) if it aint due to mods, then it could be spoilt oxygen sensor located at the throttle body/ clogged filters/ leaking fuel system/ check tyre pressure/ spark plugs? / will let everybody know onces my fuel tank reach 0.if it aint those, it could be yur right foot at the moment, there is no problem on my filters (just wash it last weekends) , there is no leaking fuel (already ask technician check), no wrong spark plugs.. (just change to iradium) tyre pressure are stay at 220. so no problem. about the spoilt oxygen sensor I haven't check there yet. |
