Hi sifus, please help me to make a clear decision on which model to get, as above vios 2019 vs city 2019?

i like Honda's CVT and the cool exterior design
but
Vios 2019 is equipped with cool "techs" such as front and back camera, front and back sensor, panoramic view, but that exterior bangwall.gif super ugly. Now promo comes with free 2800 aerokit, super tempting

in long term driving experience, which is better? city drive, Fuel consumption is not a big issue here ( as both advertised almost the same Fuel consumption on the flyers)

which is more useful to you, the pvm or cruise control? is the car so big that you need the pvm? i don't think that feature is a deal breaker

These features not a deal breaker tho. Just i tested drive both cars, the driving experiences i think it is same for me. If you were me to make the choice, which do u choose for, in term of driving experiences + service centre services (fees)?

heard a lot of quality issues complaints for honda. I will take a try on toyota this time, for Yaris but not Vios because it is just too ugly especially the rear.

Are you comparing the top spec? For non family, I would recommend a Mazda2. I cancelled my VIOS booking and bought a CIVIC instead because the VIOS quality is below expectation. The ride is quite bouncy and the interior a lot of plastic. I felt the cabin a bit small and the rear roof-line quite low. VIOS is still a good car but I feel the previous gen has better interior quality.

the cruise ctrl is important to me, maybe not to you, it's odd that the vios is said to be quieter than before which means it is meant for high speed cruising but there is no cruise ctrl, but i do like the vios flat floor, the city rear a/c vent is not really important as there is no separate fan, make no difference, i suppose you are comparing the high spec cos for all other specs, the city has less airbags compared to vios and that's important to me too

i was in your shoe last few month, i choose vios g 2019 over honda city because of long term usage. Based on my family experience with 2004 city and 2004 vios that is bought in the same period of time and clocked almost the same mileage, the city require more wear and tear maintenance compared to vios when it comes to long term..

So far the city and vios has clocked more than >200k km and city changed engine mounting 2x and going to be 3rd time d... vios only changed engine mounting once.

this is 1 of the main reason why i decided on vios.

too bad yaris launched after i take my vios from showroom doh.gif

of all the b segment that my family own (04 city, 04 vios, 09 myvi, 14 myvi 1.5) , this vios 2019 is the most quietest of all. Just knock on the roof and u will know the difference ... fuel consumption like same only, 11-12km/l for city driving.. maybe because engine still running in/

what the vios can improve is,
1) better quality speakers,
2) better head unit system with android auto and apple play
3) center console space too narrow
4) front cluster got reflection when sun too bright

other than that, satisfied with my purchase.
