Hello property sifu. Anyone here own a kebun / dusun? I have a plot of land, sitting doing nothing. Want to turn it to kebun & build one kampung house. Don't even know where to begin. Never have a kampung before.

Land is next to kampung houses / community & main road. 1.5 acres. I can visit probably every 2 weeks. Have belukar to clear and many wild boars. Aii..

Appreciate your kind advice. Thank you

If only 1.5 acres, most probably you do leisure farming.

Be prepare to burn cash through the months/years.

U tanam anything, u need worker to go maintain for you since u only visit every 2 weeks. If got worker, sakit kepala one lah. If worker no license to drive or no transport nearby, lagi worse.

No gula for kopi, call u to buy and send there. No kopi for breakfast, call u to buy and send there. No breakfast because no telur, call u to buy and send there.

Forget tell u the baja left 1 bag, and tomorrow need to kasih baja itu tanaman, call u to buy now and send there now.

If got vege hasil from your kebun, your worker sell for you. Know you tomorrow come, today call dealer come collect hasil and songlap the money. then tomorrow you come, he tell u the vegetable kena serang penyakit lah during these 2 weeks, kena makan binatang lah etc.

Then after some months or years, you tired edi, you just leave the land vacant better. No headache. rclxub.gif

There are many retirees who have time on thier hands ad who also like growing things. Get these people as partners to help manage your farm. U supply the land, fertilizers, to9ols, etc n they provide labour to plant, do weeding, watering, manuring, etc, etc. Share the products with them.
BTW, can have location of your land ? Will it flood when heavy rain ? Any taips, nearly, so entirely depend on rain water ?
