The computer desk. A large plain desk. Best described as "long, black, and hard"


This is how I light my desk - with a 36W fluorescent tube.


Computer room. I stuff the computers into a closet so that I can shut the noise away. 5-metre VGA/DVI/audio/PS2 cables extend out to reach the desk.

Found it for $70 off someone on ebay... don't know where he bought it from.

Wah nice When I get back to my "HQ" I'll try to put blue sheets over mine and see how it looks.

An update to my SOHO setup that I posted a few months back.. changed the color of the lights, changed a monitor, tubed up my cabling, changed the keyboard/mouse, consolidated the router and fileserver..

Yups, don't know what those Samsung designers were thinking when they made the stand so short!

Managed to get hold of a friend's camera. This is my current desktop taken under daylight bulbs and incandescent bulbs.. recently added are the scanner and EEE PC. The photo is quite "raw", I didn't bother cleaning up before taking the shot (after all it will get messy again!).

If you're controlling two computers with two sets of input devices, try a software called "Synergy".
