QUOTE(kianweic @ Mar 3 2008, 11:30 AM) Though I have posted before, I am posting the update of my rig plus a tribute for this PC. Can i know ur speaker model and how much u bought it?A tribute to my Gaming PC. Thanks to the hectic working hours plus my dedication for gym, I have neglected my Gaming PC significantly. I could only spend time with my Gaming PC in the weekend. Due to the nature of my work, I can't stand another minute in front of the LCD monitor when I get back from work. Here are some photos of my gaming PC taken last year 2007 and early this year 2008. On 2007: ![]() My rig from as a whole Cheers |

QUOTE(wen9x88 @ Mar 24 2008, 07:51 AM) quite expensive, because RM1000 can get samsung 22''. 20" = $323 and 22" = $358 so is about $35 more... But i still prefer 20". somemore i think the samsung lcd monitor price keep drop. QUOTE(kianweic @ Mar 24 2008, 09:05 AM) It might be expensive in terms of Malaysian Ringgit, but in reality. Au$363 it 70% of per week pay in Australia (and that's the minimum for working full time) ^^.. Whereby, RM1,000 is equivalent to most people half a month pays over here. That is 50% of your per month salary in Malaysia. There is a huge difference between our purchasing power and Australian purchasing power. guys about the Fruit and Vege and Meat... ermm... is actually just the same la... In Malaysia earn RM10 eat RM3, in Aus earn AUD30 eat AUD10 ... what the diff? The good things in Aus is ... IF MY 206BW is down or somethigns happen .. i sent to them with Warranty, i will get a NEW 206BW. Every electronic here the same... so if 3 year warranty, after 3 years, ur machine DIE ... then get a enw 1 back ... This post has been edited by AspireAcer: Mar 24 2008, 03:09 PM |

QUOTE(ezralimm @ Mar 24 2008, 03:56 PM) Are you sure? Coz in Australia, if you sent ur product into the hospital its going to cost u much more than a new one.Typical 1 on 1 replacements are only done if you return a product within a week of purchase. That's how it is for PC components at least... Even if you buy a rice cooker you can return it and get full money back as long as it's within a week. Legally shops dont have to make 1 on 1 replacements unless the product was defective when purchased. So how bout products that go bad after awhile? While most dealers offer to bear RMA costs, after 1 year i dont think they are obliged to do so. Hence you may have to deal with the company directly. My friend has a CM external HDD die on him within a month... outside the one week return/replace window. They had to send it back to the factory for servicing (or replacement?). Anyway, he was lucky as the dealer's warranty extended for a year to cover RMA costs so he didnt have to pay for shipping/logistics. Still they had to send it away and he probably wouldnt be seeing it for awhile. I know my Samsung 226BW comes with a 1 year warranty from the dealer (they would bear any costs involved in getting it fixed/replaced, incl shipping and handling). If i had 2 bright pixels, or 3 or more dead pixels when i received (first purchased) my panel, the would have to make a 1 on 1 replacement. I have tried get back a dvd player.. when after quite a while, found out that dvd is hell too sensitive on dirty disc or scratch. Then i take back to the "Kmart(Hyper Market)" get back a new one. And freezer i not cold enough and we tried to call some one to fix it up.. when the guys come... he checked and what he said is..."is going to cost u alot to fix this problem, i suggest u buy a new one" And take back to Harvey Norman ... get back a new one again. even like my car, last 2 weeks someone crash my car and just a very hell small problem at my rear bumber, i sent to smash repair workshop, THEY TOLD ME CHANGE A NEW BUMBER cost $570AUD! so.. conclusion is... those people here are lazy to fix up small problem. |
