I would like to understand from sifus here. AP sets which i can see from shopee for example are generally RM400 cheaper than the original set. all these AP set will need to open by seller and "flash" to global rom right? or how would these AP sets work? because i see some comments who bought AP set was opened and some pictures were taken. Appreciate some sharing on this. long long time no buy AP set already. if not because the original Oneplus is goddamn expensive, i would not consider this option. thank you

Depends on which country the AP sets come from. In Malaysia, most of the AP sets are coming from China due to cheaper price.

If the AP set came from China (Hydrogen OS), then definitely the seller will open the box and flash the rom for you. If the AP set came from other countries, then most likely they wont open the box since the phone already came with global rom (Oxygen OS).

Techinically speaking, Hydrogen or Oxygen, you still can use the phone in here without any issue. The only problem is China set doesn't have Google services and playstore. You need to install them by yourself with a little knowledge, which is kind of troublesome to some users.

If you prefer sealed box, then better remember to ask the seller where the AP set came from before purchasing.

Plus I think it's hard to move the 12GB one, 8GB is sufficient for most people. They should have given 512GB storage with the 12GB to make it more compelling.

to be honest, 128gb is more than enough for me. imagine the time u need to backup. that is crazy. i try not to have so many things in the phone especially photos, which periodically i shall move it to computer. i could not afford if 1 day the phone lost, everything gone. i know computer has risk as well, but chances at mobile is much much higher

Nice . The price expected to plunge further with new Mi 9T launch (K20 Pro) launching next week.

Smart resellers are cashing out their stock when demands are still there  rclxms.gif

By the way, those who got the phones. Any complaints about the glares at the curved edges ?

after days of following this thread, of coz will continue follow, and many youtube videos and many checks on facebook and other forum.... finally, i spent my hard earn money to buy the OP7Pro top spec from M2G AP set. reason? M2G is well known phone seller offline and online, they provide 1+1 year of limited warranty. Compare to i direct buy from taobao is more expensive by around RM600.. ya, a lot of things can buy for RM600. somehow, i make a call to buy locally due to convenient and 2 years of limited warranty. happy using now and waiting for my casing from taobao.
