Lol. Still people are ranting on the price. Oneplus has already set it as so, so deal with it. Like mentioned, those without the budget for the 7 Pro can go for the normal 7 or 6T instead.
It's like asking for the highest spec Civic but you only have the budget for the lowest one. It's still a Civic. Lol

Assuming the phone cost 3.2k, there are many alternatives below that price point with better performance in some area. I think it's down to consumer preferences~ i'm a Oneplus fan so i'll just go and grab the 7Pro to replace my 3 (Which my 3 replaces my 1).    Whether it's imported set or not.

Why are still people still talking about how OnePlus has increase the price significantly ?

Yes,OnePlus was know as flagship killer with flagship killer price...when it only using plastic back,medium camera module,normal display with custom rom only.

Now,they have their own software,camera is getting better ,the build quality is great , great software support  ( my oneplus5 is still getting official update ) , gorilla glass , fast charging , and now with high fresh rate display  . ( although some of the stuff is being shared from BBK Electronic ).

They are still normal version for OnePlus 7 if they feel  OnePlus 7 Pro is expensive.

Being fanboy is one thing, as I'm one too. And not to forget that our weak currency (RM) almost one of the culprit that causing the price of official set skyrocket.

Just imagine, if you're running a company and you're going to sell a handset that its price is orignated in USD, with the condition of MY vs USD currency is unstable I think no boss wanna do biz that not going to bring any profits right? So last resort, jack the price and let consumer tank the dmg.

As for OP slogan, I think they didn't settle eh? They improved on every generation of their phone right? About pricing, lets not compare our MY scenario but the global pricing. Samsung s10plus 8GB/128GB @ 999USD where by OP7PRO 12GB/256GB @ 749USD.

So overall, OP still the flagship for the time being IMO.

After thinking long and hard I might go the same route as you guys and delay my purchase till later on. Think I’ll get an imported 6T to toy around first since I’ve never had a OnePlus before and I’ve never committed to Android phones on RRP before

Let's say XF brought in 300 units of OP7 Pro at cost price of rm3k/ unit regardless of model for this preorder. 300 units x Rm3k = Rm900k.
So if they don't sell all but claim sold out just to "shiok sendiri", then this must be a super costly "shiok sendiri" business plan.
