1st and 2nd test is amazing SOT time.

Perhaps he have tune the phone and after few battery charges cycle he achieve this kind of SOT.

Seems setting it at QuadHD at 90Hz is the right way to go.  :thumbsup:

Yeah leave it alone for a while, also, if you can, turn on NFC. Apparently the combo can show phantom touches if they are around.

Good to hear this. TG on The S10 affected the effectiveness of the FP scanner when TG was installed. Did you administer your FP again after installing or you just used back the same FPs?

XF screwed up on this one, it would have been more beneficial to everyone had they maintained  the concept of preorders, they only release the product after that period, not before or during because it leaves a bitter taste in people's mouths.

Also, having the launch event a whole week after the global launch was unnecessary, everyone who was even remotely interested in the Oneplus already watched the global event and what we saw at the local one was pretty much the same except for the pricing.

They could have released  a newsletter to all local publications a few days after the global launch stating the price and the special offers and taken preorders on the 17th of May, let it run for a week and then distributed it after that.

But the biggest problem is that they do not even have the stock yet.

Headaches aside, I won't cancel my preorder, I like the phone and I even bought some cases for it, so I am in it for the long run

Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner only requires pulse data of the fingerprint and that’s why only a slight touch is needed to validate the identity on the device. Compared to the ultrasonic finger print scanner on the S10, the optical fingerprint scanner needs to generate a detailed 2D image of the fingerprint and store it in the system while during unlocking, a tiny camera behind the display takes the image of your finger and then compares it to the stored image.
So your explanation above just doesn't cut it. A TG would affect the small camera's capability to take a clearer image of the FP during scanning compared to a much thinner plastic SP. Whatever it is, OP got their optical FP right compared to Samsung's more advanced Ultrasonic version.

I would say OnePlus 7 Pro was few step ahead of Galaxy S9+ & iPhone XS in terms of sound performance.
