Grab Drivers Malaysia Association president Arif Asyraf Ali said less than 10% of 200,000 drivers for the e-hailing service are now PSV-ready, and cited factors such as steep fees and difficult tests as problems faced by them.

He claimed that many drivers found it difficult to pass the PSV test, adding that they were given questions which are irrelevant to the e-hailing industry.

“I heard from my colleague that about 100 drivers went to sit for the test, and all them failed.

“Books are not allowed and the only language used is in Bahasa,” he told reporters today, adding that many drivers could not read or write in Malay.

It is actually sad to know that with all the amount of budget allocated into education, we still have Malaysians who can't speak/read/write in Malay.

Maybe they grew up in pedalaman, far from school, so education chance were not available to them when they were younger.
Life is tough.

That's why they drive grab and need kebajikan help.

BTW a million dollar questions, did they provide the book for u to study like undang? Getting books inside exam hall is out of questions but a reference is a must before attending exam.

The real issue is not the psv test itself. It's that gahmen is slapping tax n fee on everything they can get they hands on. air flying fee for intl flight, now rideshare fee, nxt time digital tax.

M40 kena squeeze more into b40. Even wif all these tax deficit keep increase but still 3rd world stuck in mid inkamb trap.
