Haha. Not at all. I have many friends and colleagues who are academics there. And as explained - I have visited the campus there on various occasions. - official and non-official.

In fact, i have seen USCI evolve from its Sedaya College days way back when it was a shophouse in SS2.

Why not consider local more established tertiary institutions like Multimedia University, Uniten, Universiti Teknology Petronas?

Final year UCSI engineering student here. I have literally no idea how UCSI got top 1 private university in QS ranking.

-There are good and trash lecturers, i believe this applies to all university.
-Course materials are pretty standard, the harder you study the better the reward.
-Management is utter garbage.
-Laboratory facilities are junk pile piece of shiat.

Do i regret joining? No. My initial plan was to just get a cert and get it over with, not that i enjoy engineering anyway. But surprisingly i'd still able to get good result over 4 years of study. I cannot speak for other university, but if you want my opinion regarding engineering course in UCSI, it is below average. My advice is, if you are passionate in engineering, better go for other option. I have no idea what i've learned since year 1, just study and score it thats all.

Join Semi-Government Semi Private ones. UTP and MMU should be okay lah.
Else fully private by overseas institute, like Xiamen, Southern University College, Monash, Nottingham...

Else local ones will be left with UTAR/TARUC.

Else go private by joining UM's RM 90k tuition fee program.

I am from EEE department, I personally don't think it is worth wild to study here.
Please study in somewhere else.
Feel free to ask any First Year University Course Subjects.

How much does UCSI cost? I mean is it quite affordable and are there any hidden fees?

Are the courses offered by UCSI certified by BEM?

It is accredited in a 3-4 years basis in each department, to see whether the faculty seems fit to operate.
Most of the time it works.

So far EEE and Mechanical Engineering seems to have passed their accreditation.
