Until oversupply problem is resolved, the price will be cheap.

Time will change everything. For now only Intel applies ddr3, when it comes from amd's am3 then ddr3 will be mainstream.

But one thing u can expect from PCFair. Maybe the distributor itself have their booth so maybe they will give nice price. But only for specific brand and only value parts.

I think it only effects on Value the most. High performance part will maintain the price.

For non gamer there is no reason to upgrade to new technology. Even for Vista if u can get 1GB or 2GB SDRAM for old system can already run smoothly.

QUOTE(ataris @ Jul 10 2007, 10:19 AM) what u mean by non gamer ? im a gamer and still using high performance ddr1, 9600xt card, athlon xp2200. yeah, maybe it cant play all the latest games that need high performance pcs but it can play counter strike, warcraft 3, need for speed, yada yada. actually if i have the money, sure upgrade, LMAO. I mean Gamers with only highest game configuration setting in mind and latest game for sure. Hardcore gamers sure keep up to date to new graphics technology. Yes, u should upgrade to X1950PRO AGP. But sure bottlenecks a lot on ur xp2200. |
