Celeron D400series + Asrock PT880-VSTA + x1950GT + his current DDR1 should cost around RM850. Or just grab ddr2. It seems ddr2 1GB price quite stable now around RM150 and below.

The price for high performance part usually not increase too high coz of less demand than value part. That is what i think.

Yeah, poor me, for RM30 I can live in 4 days. But it really doesnt matter to satisfy ur vista experience.

The only solution is to find the cheapest brand around. Unless if u need to find specific chipset like D9XXX then u need to add some cash.

1GB DDR 400 Chaintech Apogee priced lower than RM200, but sure not oc well.

This will be excellent for 939/478 users to upgrade straight away to 2GB.

Most likely 256MB for RM50 and 512MB for RM100. But thats maybe imposible for 2nd hand.
